Adventure 67 - Does This Robe Make My Missles Look Phat?

The last trek of the Radio Free Hommlet crew before going on a (much needed) hiatus is about the Mage - a Wiz(z)ard build from the Essentials line.  He looks remarkably similar to a regular wizard (post Arcane Power ) but with a few tweaks to give him extra appeal to some of the "old school" D&D fans.  Compared to the other Essentials characters he is more complex.  We also have a Newsdesk that feels a little stilted because as we went to save it we encountered tech problems and lost the whole thing.  So you are getting take 2 - and the jokes are never right the second time. The Hey, Look At This! is a web series DM David has found called The Winding City which you can find on YouTube.

Since this is our sign-off (at least for a while) there is a retrospective (kinda) that starts around 1:11:10.  We're not disappearing though.  You can still reach us at newsdesk@hommlet.com or on the d20 Radio forums as well as catching us at various conventions. Let us know what you're interested in and we might just show up with it one day.

Until then, thanks for listening!

While I'm sad to see you going I have to say that I've enjoyed your podcast. Just like the other one that I "don't listen to," you've given me a lot of good leads on products I should be interested in... and in some cases I got so excited that I ran right out the same weekend to get a copy of what you were reviewing. You'll be missed.

That said, your comment about convention attendance has me thinking that while the cast is fading into the ether you could come back with a few shows around convention time. Not being able to go to and cons myself it was fun to live vicariously through your stories. Just an idea.

Anyway, thanks again for the good times
