This adventure brings us a look at the bane and boon of all DMs - the House Rule.  House rules can fix the gaps that aren't explicitly covered by the RAW or allow extra coolness for your PCs.  The cast of Radio Free Hommlet presents some of the house rules we use on a regular basis as well as some thoughts on how they have developed through the sessions of playing.  We finish up with DM David's Worldbuilding Affirmations as we walk through the creation of custom races for his Voidshards world.

With regard to your house rule about pushing dragons, I think a good compromise would be to allow a save against forced movement if the creature being affected is more than 2 size categories larger than the creature initiating the effect. That way your gnome fighter still has a chance to push the dragon, and gives the player a chance to RP the explanation for that out.

It's in iTunes, but now the podcast is uploading at an abominally slow rate (6 hours). Did you folks downgrade to a dial-up connection with your server since the last episode? :)
